AMN Feminist Edition: Under One's Eye

The upcoming Asian Movie Night shall be a bit different. ONE MOVIE x ONE BOOK!

Join us on November 15th at Walter Books for this feminist edition of AMN: Under One's Eye, where we will be looking into an award-winning film from Mainland China about a very contemporary yet very hard to take in social phenomenon of human/women trafficking in East Asia.
The film will be accompanied by a short book discussion of Social Reproduction Theory: Remapping Class, Recentering Oppression, edited by Tithi Bhattacharya, recommended to us by WALTER.

Asian Movie Night would like to invite you to take part in this movie night and book discusion for a more comprehensive and collective learning on the subject matter.
